A native Lancastrian (we’re still not sure exactly what this means…), Jay made his dream move to Edinburgh when he joined Speakeasy back in 2021.
His journey in film began when he graduated with an MA in Film & TV Production from Bournemouth University before establishing himself as a Producer across a number of elite media agencies in London, developing content on behalf of an illustrious list of clients including American Express, Maersk, Specsavers and the N.H.S.
Since joining Speakeasy, Jay has made a name for himself as the driving force behind a suite of critically acclaimed videos and animations for the likes of Stagecoach, Scottish Enterprise, NatureScot and NHS Education for Scotland, being feted with a number of coveted EVCOM award wins in the process.

- The Edinburgh food scene.
- Country walks and enjoying Scotland’s natural beauty.
- Cosy evenings on the couch with his wife.
Dislikes:
- Disorganisation.
- Any Star Wars content that was released after ‘Return of the Jedi’.
- People thinking he is actually from Yorkshire (apparently this is something of a taboo…).
