Speakeasy is looking for freelancers and full time corporate film producers to join our Edinburgh team.

As one of the UK’s largest and most successful corporate production companies, Speakeasy is home to a vibrant team of creative communication specialists with nearly 30 years experience producing world-class films and live events for blue chip clients including: Lloyds Banking Group, SSE, NHS, British Red Cross, Scottish Government, Travis Perkins, BAE Systems and Royal Mail.

Our output ranges from documentaries and training films to regular staff news programmes, from animations and high impact event films to presentations, live webcasts and social media videos.

We’re looking for exceptionally creative and well organised individuals who can be trusted to manage film and animation projects for major public and private sector clients, from brief to delivery, combining creative instinct and an endless supply of good ideas with the technical know-how to make them happen.

Excellent client facing skills are a must, along with the confidence and enthusiasm to engender trust and develop lasting client relationships.

Over the last year Speakeasy has led the way in developing remote filming works streams and converting our film and events clients to virtual production methodologies. So an awareness and expertise in the area of remote filming and production techniques would be a huge advantage.

Key skills include:

  • Taking briefs and carrying out rigorous communication analysis
  • Developing inspirational and effective creative treatments and presenting them to clients
  • Communicating clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, including tendering and script writing
  • Interpreting business needs and speaking the language of the business community
  • Sourcing and allocating production and creative talent
  • Leading and enthusing the project team

This is a ‘hit the ground running’ opportunity and so we only want to hear from people with well proven skills and experience who can take on demanding projects immediately.

Please send your CV, reel and covering letter to jeremy@speak.co.uk by Friday 25th June telling us why you’re right for Speakeasy, and whether you’re interested in freelance work or a full time position.

Pay commensurate with experience.
